The end of the (Red) Line.

WMATA can’t seem to catch a break — passengers can expect even more delays on the Red Line this week due to a man being struck by a Metro train. Witnesses say he intentionally placed himself on the tracks.

The Takoma station, however, will be open for the weekend if you’re willing to brave it.

FoBo residents, I expect we’ll either see a larger(than normal) increase of traffic this weekend at the Foggy Bottom/GWU stop as people try out alternate routes, or ghost town Metros as everyone stays home or takes a cab.

  1. Metro was a ghost town this morning, so luckily I doubt this ends up causing too much of a clusterfuck.
