How to: Help the Children of Cancer Patients

The GW branch of Camp Kesem, a national non-profit organization that provides a free summer camp to the children of cancer patients as well as leadership opportunities to GW students, is hosting a benefit dinner and silent auction to raise money for its August 2011 camp program.

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011 at 6:00 pm.
City View Room – 1957 E Street NW, 7th Floor
Tickets are $75 per person available online

Featuring an open bar cocktail reception, three-course dinner, live music, a silent auction, and remarks by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a breast cancer survivor and mother of three, and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. The silent auction includes two round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines, a private wine tasting for 20 guests, a book autographed by Justin Bieber, a private tour of the Kreeger Museum, and over 30 other items.¬†All donations are tax deductible and benefit Camp Kesem’s August 2011 summer camp program. Business attire recommended.
