• Hillyer Arts Space (9 Hillyer Court NW) is holding their First Friday event, presenting their Six in the Mix exhibition. There will be a live performance by Deon “Cleancutt” Clark
• “Opening August 7, the Renwick hosts Staged Stories: Renwick Craft Invitational 2009 the fourth in a biennial exhibition series that honors the creativity and talent of craft artists working today. • If you missed Keith Secola and his Wild Band of Indians at the Millennium Stage on Friday, he’s performing as part of the National Indian Museum’s Indian Summer Showcase, 5 pm, at the Outdoor Welcome Plaza. Keith Secola has won a bunch of Native American Music Awards, and fuses folk, rock, native flute, and more into his organic sound.
• Irvine Contemporary (1412 14th Street NW)is opening their exhibition Introductions5, with an artists talk at 5 pm.

• Out of FoBo, DC United plays Real Madrid at FedExField, 3 pm. This is your chance to see Ronaldo in action!
